2024-2025 Immersive Elementary Language Programs
Grades 2-5: Level 1
Welcome to the Language Program at The Learning Center for Languages and Arts at Our Lady of Grace!
We are thrilled to offer an immersive language learning experience tailored specifically for elementary-aged children. Our program includes engaging introductory classes in a choice of Italian, Spanish, and Japanese, all designed to build a strong foundation in each language through fun activities and cultural exploration.
With this immersive approach, young learners will not only grasp the basics of vocabulary and grammar but also develop an appreciation for the rich cultures tied to their chosen language. Classes are lively and interactive, featuring songs, games, and real-world conversations to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Our small class sizes provide a supportive environment where every child can thrive as they begin their language journey. We believe that cultivating a love for languages at an early age opens doors to a lifetime of new experiences, opportunities and friendships.

We currently offer the following languages in our Immersive Language Program:
Level 1: Immersive Elementary Italian
Level 1: Immersive Elementary Spanish
Level 1: Immersive Elementary Japanese
Class Schedule
Classes meet twice per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
Session One – Start Date: Tuesday, October 22, 2024 – Thursday, December 5, 2024
Six Weeks / 2 Classes per week / 1.5 Hours per class / 12 Classes in total
Session One Tuition Total for 12 Classes: $480
Session Two – Start Date: Tuesday, January 7, 2025 – Thursday, March 9, 2025
Six Weeks / 2 Classes per week / 1.5 Hours per class / 12 Classes in total

Session Three – Start Date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025 – Thursday, May 15, 2025

Our language programs are two-year, two-level immersive programs, divided into three sessions per year.
Each level is one school year, October through May, divided into three 6-week sessions, with two classes per week, for a total of 12 classes per session and 36 classes per year.
Level One starts in October of this year and continues through May. The program continues with Level Two next year.
Weather and Other Emergency Closures
In the event of inclement weather or teacher illness, cancelled classes will be added to the end of the current session schedule.
